Safari Itinerary
Drive to Londorossi Gate (approx 2 hours). Trek through forest to Shira 1 Camp (3550m). Dinner and overnight.
Trek across Shira Plateau. Spectacular views of Kibo and Shira Cathedral. Reach Shira 2 Camp (3850m). Acclimatization walk. Dinner and overnight.
Trek to Lava Tower (4600m) for acclimatization. Descend to Barranco Camp (3950m). Views of Barranco Wall.
Climb Barranco Wall. Trek to Karanga Camp (4035m). Rest and acclimatization. Dinner and overnight.
Trek to Barafu Camp (4640m). Prepare for summit. Early dinner and rest.
Start summit at midnight. Reach Uhuru Peak (5895m). Descend to Mweka Gate. Certificate ceremony. Drive to Moshi/Arusha.
