Safari Itinerary
Drive to Umbwe Gate (approx 1 hour). Trek through dense rainforest. Reach Umbwe Camp (2940m). Dinner and overnight.
Trek along dramatic ridges. Challenging day with steep sections. Join the southern circuit at Barranco Camp (3950m). Dinner and overnight.
Climb the famous Barranco Wall. Spectacular views. Trek to Karanga Camp (4035m). Rest and acclimatization. Dinner and overnight.
Trek to Barafu Camp (4640m). Views of Kibo and Mawenzi. Prepare for summit attempt. Early dinner and rest.
Start summit attempt at midnight. Reach Stella Point (5756m) then Uhuru Peak (5895m). Descend to Mweka Camp (3100m). Celebration dinner!
Trek through rainforest to Mweka Gate. Lunch, receive certificates. Drive back to Moshi/Arusha.
